A long, quiet workhorse for daily prep. Laminated strips of solid hardwood are glued edge to edge, planed flat and finished by hand with food-safe oil. A soft juice groove runs along one face; the other side is left clean for serving.

Material story
Ostro is built from long strips cut from boards that have air-dried for at least two years. Each strip is chosen by hand so the grain flows uninterrupted from end to end. Nothing is stained — the colour you see is the tree itself.
