Our heaviest board. Hundreds of end-grain blocks are arranged in a checker of tone and glued into a single slab. Knife edges slip between the fibres rather than cutting across them, so the board self-heals and your knives stay sharp longer.

Material story
Kivi takes weeks to make. The timber is cut into blocks, rotated so the growth rings face up, then glued, flattened and glued again. The pattern on every Kivi is unique — a map of the tree it came from.
